Golf du Bois de Ruminghem ( France ) |
This course has been taken over in 2009 by an Australian pro and was in very poor condition. He takes care of the maintenance and the course has improved amazingly in one year. The greens are superfast! Certainly worth its GF price now. |

Stay away from Villeneuve Loubet.
Given price is € 20,00 for 10 mini-holes, when you actually want to play all of a sudden it is € 35,00. In my opinion not even worth € 5,00, It is a total disaster. Don't take my word for it, upon request I'll send some photo's taken in september 2009. |

Lolivarie Golf Club ( France ) |
This course wins purely by default. This part of the Dordogne is deservedly popular as a holiday destination and Lolivarie is the only course in the area. For such a beautiful area it is quite an achievement to string 18 holes through such dull landscape. At the round's conclusion my friends and I struggled to remember more than 2 vaguely interesting holes although the back 9 is marginally better. It is not in great condition, the bunkers and tees particularly poor. It is not an easy round with tight tree lined fairways but you feel that you are playing the same hole on virtually every hole. It is expensive too at €70 and is not worth half of this. Only play if you are desperate for a game on holiday. the hire clubs were absymal too. |

Golf Gilles de Boisgelin ( France ) |
The last time I visited in 2007, the course was unplayable. The greens had been taken up for relaying and had not progressed. All you could do was drive, if the flag wasn,t there, you wouldn,t know there was a hole for the length of the grass. In fairness, My brother in law has a house nearby, and he was told last weekend that there is a new management team in place and that it was now back to normal. I will go and see in October and will rewrite this review if improved. The surounding areas are superb. If a full 18 hole course is what you are after, the superb "J,onc dors" (golden flowers) course is just a few minutes drive away in "Lantic" this course is manicured, with a fabulous 19th Hole. |

De Belle-Dune Golf ( France ) |
Have played here with 12 others for 5 years
Did not go in 2008 as we can never get more than
2 or 3 buggies no matter how early we try to book
Probably will not go back until they get more buggies |

irish owned and managed , now in top condition , not for beginners because of high technical level of skill required , favoured by low to medium handicap golfers , twelve minutes walk from rer e hausmann to gretz armainvilliers. highly recommended , by far the best located golf course in the paris region , hundreds of old oak trees lakes and wildlife , well worth playing |
